LINDY HOP & SOLO JAZZ

LINDY HOP & SOLO JAZZ
RED TRACK

This is not a beginner class. You have been taking Lindy Hop classes for at least 6 months. This is your first or maybe second workshop with international teachers. You are comfortable dancing both eight and six count figures and you are able to mix them. You are familiar with the basics (Swing out, Lindy circle, six counts) and are eager to start widening your dance vocabulary. This is also a good track for you if you want to learn to dance in the opposite role (leader / follower).

LINDY HOP & SOLO JAZZ
ORANGE TRACK

You have been taking Lindy Hop classes for at least 1 year. Your dance connects to the music and you have a good variety of figures (swing out, Tuck Turn and side by side Charleston etc). You go to social dancing regularly and you already attended some Lindy Hop workshops. You are familiar with the Shim Sham routine, maybe not all of it, but you can follow when it’s danced in a group. You can lead or follow clearly and you are comfortable dancing to slow to mid tempo music. You have seen or maybe tried some footwork variations (in your Lindy Hop or in Jazz).

You know a wide range of jazz steps and are comfortable with a few solo jazz routines.
