5 INTERNATIONAL TEACHERS
ARI BELTRAN & SIMON BREASSANELLI
SPAIN / UK
Ari and Simon are full time swing dance teachers, performers and choreographers. They love all aspects of swing dance as well as the impressive history and culture that it comes from. Their main dances are Lindy Hop and Solo Jazz but they love all swing dances for the freedom, self-expression and connection they give. They have been working together since 2016 and are now based in Madrid working globally as well as growing their online platform through Patreon.
They have a dynamic, elegant and powerful style that is a testament to their diverse backgrounds and their growth together. They hold titles from the International Lindy Hop Championships, The Savoy Cup and The Korean Lindy Hop Championships, among others. Their passion for the dance and the culture of swing has grown with them and is something they constantly strive to develop and express, whether in classes, on stage or in competition.
Jean-Charles aka JoYsS is well known for his multi-artistic experience.
He originally comes from the Hip-hop Culture, where the mission of every dancer is to raise your own style and respect all inspirations without taking off any nature of it.
His purpose is not to dance swing with "modern moves"... He just comes with his own experience, challenges himself and try to level up exactly like the old school dancers did by the time, like if they never stopped dancing until now.
MARIA MALLAN & CLÀUDIA FONTE
Swing dancers (Lindy Hop and Authentic Jazz), Maria and Clàudia’s work is focused on developing their own context for couple dancing. While having learnt from the classics, from Lindy Hop and Authentic Jazz roots, showing admiration and gratitude they also look for expressing their own interpretation and voice always adjusting their individual moves to each other.
Although working on the dynamics from both roles, they believe in initiating the movement from the body as a whole; as one unit. Body awareness is one of the foundations that enables them to develop and work on a continuous and flow of movements, adding rhythmical contrasts.
Their objective is to find different ways to understand movement and rhythm changes in order to apply it to Swing music and give way to playful interpretations. What they believe is that the more open we are to learn and explore, the more freedom we can feel to fill the dance with personal characteristics united with the partner and enjoy the swing songs together.
Tebby is a South African choreographer, dancer/performer, dance teacher & researcher and cultural activist.

After working professionally in several theatre and dance companies in South Africa and abroad, he came to Europe in 1995 to pursue studies in New Dance Development and Choreography at the European Dance Development Centre in Arnhem, The Netherlands. He then established himself as a dancer, choreographer and dance teacher in Europe. In 1999 he founded TeBogO Dance Ensemble (TBO) (later called TeBogO Dance), with a vision of focusing on the role and the spiritual essence of the dancing body as a tool of communication, bringing dance to the people as both a performance, socio-cultural and educational platform. Since its inauguration, he has been invited to perform and teach extensively in Europe and abroad (as far as Japan or South Africa, for example).

FRIDAY & SATURDAY NIGHT BAND
Roaring Cats are one of Europe’s most promising bands regarding swing and hot jazz. The tiny orchestra, based in Amsterdam, took the challenge of giving value and new significance to the roots of jazz.
Their repertoire consists of original arrangements of the finest tunes by the top artists of the 30’s and 40’s: from Fats Waller to Cab Calloway, Duke Ellington to Jimmie Lunceford. Swell notes for hyperactive swing dancers and for sedentary drinking listeners.
Registerions will open in April 2023
